IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR COLOUR APPOINTMENT
We pride ourselves on top quality colour services. As Goldwell colour specialists, we use only the best colouring products; offering a range of colour services, to meet any and all needs, and can’t wait to create your dream hair with you!
If it’s your first colour visit with us, you’re wanting to change or have been colouring your hair at home, we require you book in for a free hair colour consultation with one of our experts to see the best way we can achieve your desired look!
Please note that a skin test is required 48 hours prior to having a colour application. However, if you do suffer from allergies, it is also worth noting that we can offer both Nectaya and Elumen hair colour, which are ammonia and PPD free, which are the main cause of reactions. You will still be required to have a skin test for these.

Essential Colour
Tint A permanent colour service, used to colour hair for grey coverage or tonal changes, which produces a regrowth as it grows out. Using Topchic for perfect performance, guaranteed intense colours and full brilliance in all dimensions.
Glossing Semi-permanent colour, ideal for refreshing tones and grey blending. As it isn’t full coverage, glossing fades from the hair in up to 26 washes so it doesn’t produce as harsh of a regrowth. Colorance, perfectly colours and repairs in one step. Fresh, lively and intensive colours.
Tint and glossing For when you’re looking to cover your grey / permanent regrowth and refresh your colour back to vibrancy. We encourage glossing through the mid-lengths and ends every few appointments. As not all shades require a refresh every time, your stylist will be able to advise you on follow up services. A beautiful blend of Topchic and Colorance to create your customized shade.
Pre-light and Tone a global scalp lightening to lift you hair and then tone to your target shade. We encourage a consultation for all clients looking into having this service.
Pre-lighten and tone insists on a maximum of 6 weeks between appointments to ensure you receive the best results from your service.
Silklift is a high performance premium lightener offering lightening without compromise, outstanding performance and maximum conditioning.
Specialist colouring
Specialist colouring services are those that require a higher level of skill. We book more time for these services to allow for the higher accuracy and precision that we use when carrying them out.
Weaving Services (Foil)
Weaving services are one of our most popular specialist colouring techniques. We offer a variety of effects where foils are used to create beautiful colour designs or classic effects, using techniques like weave, slice, texture or placement. Highlights are created by using a weaving technique specific to the style you’re hoping to achieve and then a pop of colour is added, through lightening or colouring products.

Singular foils can be added to other services, or used on their own. This service is offered on consultation.
Balayage
Balayage is a highlighting technique, contoured with the application of free hand painting working from the ends up. This technique creates the effect of the hair being lighter on the ends and diffusing upwards. It can be customised by using creative colours or highlights to give a more personal finish.

Vivid colouring
Vivid colours are those bright, bold and intense colours we all love. We insist on a consultation before vivid colouring services and please be aware you may need prior services to prepare the hair. This could include a pre-lighten and tone or highlights / balayage to give the perfect base for your chosen colour.
Elumen is a premium non-oxidative permanent hair colour. It encompasses physically drawn direct dyes to elumenate the hair intensively from the inside out. Exceptional shine and incredible durability to improve the hair structure.
Please note: As Elumen is permanent you are not always able to remove it quickly. If you’re not looking for a permanent vivid colour we also offer Crazy colour as a semi-permanent alternative.
Crazy colour is the perfect introductory step into vivid colouring. As a semi-permanent hair color cream in a range of vibrant colours, it is a fantastic way to add an instant burst of colour! This range is semi-permanent, so there is no long term commitment, meaning you can always change your hair colour.
